Anna Fortune Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing virtual counseling to women throughout Alabama and Georgia. For the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges. Over the past several years, I have intentionally focused my clinical practice on providing Christian counseling for adult women.

By building a practice centered on women's mental health, I am able to offer counseling that reflects both specialized clinical experience and a focused commitment to the population my practice is designed to serve.

I believe God is the author of truth, and I have often found that many principles supported by psychological research reflect truths He has revealed in Scripture.  The importance of renewing our minds, cultivating healthy relationships, practicing gratitude and forgiveness, developing wise habits, and living with hope are just a few examples. This is one of the reasons I value thoughtfully integrating evidence-based counseling with a biblical worldview for clients who desire faith to be part of the counseling process.  

While faith-integrated counseling is a focus area, I work with women from all walks of life and seek to honor each client's individual beliefs, values, experiences, and goals. Faith integration is always guided by your preferences and what you would or would not like to be part of the counseling process.

I strive to create an open and supportive environment where you can be honest about your thoughts, emotions, struggles, and experiences without fear of judgment. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or have been struggling for years, you don't have to walk through it alone.
