Because mental health professionals follow the ethical guidelines of the American Counseling Association & HIPAA Rules related to Protected Health Information (PHI), we are required to protect client privacy and confidentiality and therefore cannot request or respond to client reviews. Although clients may choose to leave feedback on their own, doing so may reveal personal identity and health information. We encourage you to keep your counseling experience private and share any feedback or concerns directly with your counselor.   

Any client who chooses to post a public review, testimonial, comment, or online feedback does so voluntarily and at their own discretion. Please do not include sensitive, confidential, medical, mental health, treatment-related, insurance, or other protected health information (PHI) in your review.

Information shared publicly online may be visible to third parties and may be copied or redistributed outside of our control. To protect client privacy and comply with applicable confidentiality and HIPAA requirements, we will not respond to reviews in a way that confirms an individual’s client status or discloses protected information.
